Our solid shampoos are made from
95% nourishing, natural ingredients
Conventional shampoos often contain over 80% water. Added to this are binding and gelling agents, preservatives, harsh surfactants, and only a very small amount of conditioning agents. Solid shampoos, on the other hand, contain no water at all, but rather a nourishing plant hydrosol that contains a small amount of water. With a mild surfactant from coconut and only 5% water, they represent a nourishing and intensively conditioning shampoo concentrate that is incredibly effective and rich in nourishing oils and beneficial active ingredients.

The solid shampoos respect the skin's protective barrier because they are made from mild, natural ingredients that won't dry out or irritate the skin. Unlike many conventional shampoos, they don't contain harsh sulfates or silicones that could attack and block the scalp's natural protective layer. Their nearly skin-neutral pH ensures the skin remains in its natural balance, which is especially important for maintaining and strengthening the skin's protective barrier.

That's why I developed our solid shampoos
Since my teens, I've had recurring problems with my hair. My fine, thin strands quickly became heavy, appearing flat and lifeless after just a few hours, while my scalp remained dry and sensitive. Finding a suitable shampoo? A real gamble!
Even expensive professional products were disappointing – they either contained harmful ingredients that made my scalp itch, or they weighed my hair down so much that it hung like spaghetti after just a few hours. Most products relied on silicones, harsh surfactants, or other ingredients that were neither good for me nor for the environment. Stubborn pimples had settled on my neck and shoulders, which were constantly inflamed and painful.
So I took matters into my own hands. I started tinkering, testing, and tweaking until I developed a formula that truly impressed me. A mild shampoo that thoroughly cleanses and conditions my hair without weighing it down, while remaining gentle on the scalp and, at the same time, being sustainable and plastic-free. When I saw how enthusiastic our test group was about the solid shampoos, I knew: We absolutely had to share this with the world!
